AIM 6.0 installs and uses Viewpoint Media Player
AIM 6.0 installs Viewpoint Media Player in support of SuperBuddy icons and wallpaper. If you uninstall Viewpoint and launch AIM 6.0, the AIM software provides a prompt to download Viewpoint when a buddy with a SuperBuddy icon or wallpaper sends you an instant message. Viewpoint is also installed with other AOL software.
