AOL 9.0 VR (Vista Ready)
AOL 9.0 VR or Vista Ready is a new version of AOL that has been developed to run on the new Windows Vista operating system. This means that anyone upgrading to Windows Vista can continue to use the AOL service.
Information you need:
- USB modems are not yet compatible with Windows Vista. If you wish to install Windows Vista, you will need to purchase a modem router.
- If you are connecting wirelessly, we advise that you check with the manufacturer of your wireless adapter that it is Windows Vista compatible. If you are using a wireless adapter thats built into your laptop you will need to check with your laptop manufacturer.
- If you are purchasing a new PC or upgrading your operating system to Windows Vista, first check if your PC meets the minimum system requirements, then ensure to download AOL 9.0 VR as this is the only version of AOL that will work with Windows Vista.
