AOL Browser favourites bar

The favourites bar provides easy access to websites saved in your favourites menu. By default, the favourites bar is not seen in the AOL Browser window. Once turned on, the favourites bar is located between the Tab Layer and the Contents Display window.

By default, the AOL Browser favourites bar includes the following folders and websites: Games, Music, Safety and Security, Downloads, Dating, Community, Pictures, Alerts and Blogs.

To see the favourites bar click the View menu, then click Favourites Bar.

To modify the favourites bar:

1. Click the Favourites menu, then click Manage Favourites....
2. Click the Arrow next to the AOL Browser folder to display the contents.
3. Click the Arrow next to the Favourites Bar folder to display the links within.
4. To rename a folder or website, click the item to highlight it, then click the Edit button.
5. Make the desired changes, then click the Save button.

Note: Click the Move button to remove a link from the favourites bar, but still keep it in your AOL Browser favourites.

To add a favourite website to the favourites bar:

1. Navigate to the website so that it is active in the browser window.
2. Click the Favourites menu, and then click Add to Favourites....
3. In the Place In: section, click the Favourites Bar option to select it.
4. Click the Save button.

To delete a website from the favourites bar:

1. Click Favourites menu, then click Manage Favourites....
2. Using the Arrow next to each folder, locate the website you wish to delete.
3. Click the website to highlight it, and then click the Delete button.
4. On the Confirm Delete window, click the Yes button.
