AOL Browser file menu
In addition to the standard menu, the AOL Browser file menu gives you several different options to enhance your browsing experience. The choices on the file menu are:
- New Tab: This option opens a new tab in the current browser window. The New Tab option is disabled if tabbed browsing is turned off.
- New Window: This option opens a new browser window.
- Open...: This option allows you to enter a web address to open, or browse for a local file you wish to open using AOL Browser.
- Close Tab: This option closes the current tab.
- Close All Tabs: This option closes all open tabs and hides the tab layer, depending on your preference setting for tabs. AOL Browser remains open.
- Save Page As...: This opens a standard Windows file save window.
- Send with Quicknote: If you are logged in to AIM, this option will open up a blank IM window with the web page's address in it.
- Page Setup...: This option launches a standard Windows page setup window for adjusting printing settings.
- Print Preview: This option allows you to view how the selected page will appear as a printed page.
- Print...: This option launches a standard Windows print window.
- Properties: This option displays a standard Windows web page properties window.
- Sign In: If you are not currently signed in to the service, this option will bring up the sign in screen.
- Sign Out: If you are signed in to the service and wish to switch to a different screen name, this option will sign you out.
- Exit: This option will close any open tabs as well as the AOL Browser program.
