Block or unblock sender on Mail Controls with AOL WebSuite Basic version

You can use the Mail Controls to block e-mail from a specific e-mail address or domain. Or if you accidentally blocked an e-mail address or domain, you can remove that e-mail address or domain from your block list.

Note: A domain is the part of the e-mail address after the @ symbol. For example, if the e-mail address is address@aol.com, aol.comĀ® would be the domain.

Block an e-mail address or domain

When you do not want to receive e-mail from a specific e-mail address or domain, you can add them to your Mail Controls block list.

1. Go to www.aol.co.uk.
2. Sign in using your screen name and password, then click the Basic Version link.
3. In the upper left, click the Settings link.
4. Click the Spam Controls tab.
5. Click the Block mail from option by clicking it, then in the box provided type the e-mail addresses which you want to block.
6. In the upper left, click the Save button to save the changes.

To unblock an e-mail address or domain:

1. Go to www.aol.co.uk.
2. Sign in using your screen name and password, then click the Basic Version link.
3. In the upper left, click the Settings link.
4. Click the Spam Controls tab.
5. In the box provided under the Block mail from option, delete the e-mail address which you want to unblock, then click the Save button.
