How do I show hidden files on Windows Vista?
If you cannot see the file you are looking for it may be hidden. Follow the steps below to show hidden files.
Show hidden files
1. Click Start then click Control Panel.
2. Select Classic View in the left-hand column.
3. Double-click Folder Options.
4. Click the View tab.
5. Select Show hidden files and folders and click OK.
