Parents can use chat controls to block hyperlinks from appearing in the chat rooms visited by their kids. All users are blocked by default from sending and receiving hyperlinks in chat rooms. If you had previously changed the default settings to allow hyperlinks in chat, you can use chat controls to restore the blocking of hyperlinks.

To block hyperlinks in chat rooms:

1. Go to Parental Controls.
Note: You must be signed on with your master screen name to set chat controls.
2. Select the screen name for whom you are setting the chat controls.
3. Scroll to the Chat Room Controls section.
4. Click the box labelled Hyperlinks (a tick should appear).
5. Click Save.
