You can control who can send instant messages to your child by specifying the users that they can instant message (IM) with.

To specify users that your child can IM with:

1. Go to http://parentalcontrols.aol.co.uk.
Note: You must be signed on with your master screen name to set instant message controls.
2. Select the screen name for whom you are setting the instant message controls.
3. Scroll to the Instant Message Controls section.
4. In the Allow your child to IM with: list, select Only users I list.
5. Click Allow a user.
6. Enter a screen name into the box and click Add. Repeat this step until all the screen names you want to allow are added.
7. Click the X in the top right-hand corner to close.
8. Click Save.
