Can I still access the internet via a dial-up connection when using Broadband?
Yes, on AOL Broadband you can access the internet using a standard modem dial-up connection.
If you have an AOL Broadband package and want to access the internet from a different location than your broadband connection, or if BT should experience issues with its broadband connectivity, you will still be able to access the internet, but only by using our designated 0845 prefixed local rate dial-up connection. Here, AOL Broadband Members will be charged local rate call charges by the relevant telephone provider for your time spent online.
