Compatible Products

In addition to our range of AOL Broadband supported products, we have also tested a number of other products available in the market so that we can ensure that they work with the AOL Broadband network. However, these products have not been officially selected as AOL Broadband supported products and so are listed as 'compatible' products only.

We provide information to assist you with the setup of these alternative products if you choose to do so. You can find the specific settings that you will need to set up a home network with AOL Broadband, plus contact information for the manufacturers themselves. We do not however provide telephone support for compatible products.

If you would like telephone support or may require telephone support in the future, you should ensure that you select products from the range of AOL Broadband supported products.

Need to know the settings?
To set up your home network to work with AOL, it is essential that you use the specific settings that your AOL connection requires.

Setting up a wireless network?
Because computers are not physically connected to your wireless network, it is possible for other people to access your network wirelessly, unless you enable some security settings.

Slow network speed?
If your router is not from the AOL supported ranges, you may need to change the MTU setting to get the best from your home network
