The ST121g v1 USB wireless USB adapter is used to connect a laptop, or desktop equipped with free USB suitable slot, to your wireless network.
Install and connect your wireless adapter
To begin the installation, insert the installation CD that you received with your wireless USB adapter into the CD-ROM drive of the computer that is going to use the adapter before connecting your adapter. You must follow the installation process and ONLY insert the adapter into the appropriate USB port on the computer when prompted.
When the CD is inserted in the machine, it should auto-run.
Note: If it does not run automatically, double-click My Computer on your Windows desktop, then right-click your CD-ROM drive and choose Auto-play. If the installation screen still does not appear, double-click the CD-ROM drive, then double-click menu.exe. The installation screen will be displayed.
To install the wireless adapter:
1. Click Install Software to start the installation.
2. Choose the required language for the installation and click OK.
3. Click Install my SpeedTouch.
Note: The language selection screen and installation panel may not appear in some versions of the software, this will not affect the installation in any way.
4. Once the installation is complete, you will be prompted to plug in your wireless adapter. Connect the adapter to a free USB port on the computer.
5. When the device has been successfully installed, the computer must restart before the adapter can be used. Ensure that you have closed all other programs and that any open documents have been saved, then click Finish.
