1. Double-click on your PC's clock, usually located on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
2. Check that the date and time are set correctly
3. Click the Time Zone tab and select the correct time zone (GMT, Greenwich Mean Time)
4. Click on OK.

Windows Vista users:

1. Click on your PC's clock, usually located on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
2. Click Change time and date settings ...
3. Check that the date and time are correct.
4. Check that the time zone is correct (GMT, Greenwich Mean Time).
5. Click OK.

Are you using the most suitable access number?

To find out if you are using the most suitable access number, sign-on to AOL and go to AOL Keyword: Best Number.

Dial the number using a phone handset

Using the phone handset, dial the AOL access number. If you hear an engaged tone or an operator message, please contact your telecoms provider.
