In order to download the AOL 9.0 VR software using your BT Voyager 190 ethernet modem you will firstly need to create a stand alone connection to the internet.

To create a stand alone connection:

1. Ensure that the BT Voyager 190 is correctly connected and in sync.
Note: When your modem is in synch the Power, DSL and Ethernet lights will all be solid green.
2. Click Start and select Control Panel.
3. Double-click Network & Sharing Centre.
4. Click Connect to a network in the left hand column.
5. Click Broadband (PPPoE).
6. Enter username. This is usually your phone number followed by @dialbb.com. For example, 0123456789@dialbb.com.
7. Enter your password.
8. Enter a name for the connection, eg Broadband connection, then click Connect.
9. Wait for the modem to connect, then click Browse the Internet now.
10. Visit AOL Keyword: Upgrade and click Download AOL 9.0 VR.
