Add an email address to your address book

When you send an email, the recipients who are not on your address book are automatically added.

To manually add an email address to your address book:

1. On the AOL Email window, click the Addresses button.
2. Click the New button, choose New Contact from the list, then click it.
3. In the First Name: and Last Name: boxes, type the name of the recipient.
4. In either the Screen Name: box or the Email1: box, type the recipient's email address.
5. If needed, add any other optional information.
6. Click the Preferred Email: drop-down menu to open it, choose the preferred email address from the list, then click it.
7. Click the Save button.
