General failure in AOL Browser

You may be receiving a general error in AOL Browser for any one of several reasons. After trying the first solution, check to see if you can use AOL Browser normally. If you are still experiencing a general error, continue using the suggested solutions until the problem is fixed.

Try again

Try to open AOL Browser again by double-clicking the AOL Browser icon on the desktop. You can also right-click the AOL 9.0 VR icon on the Windows taskbar near the clock and select AOL Browser.

Restart the computer

Restarting your computer will refresh the files and folders in Windows and may help to solve the problem you are having.

1. Shut down your computer in the usual way, eg by clicking Start, then Shut Down.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Turn your computer back on and try to connect again.
