What are Parental Controls?

Parental Controls are an easy-to-use feature that allows parents to control their children's online experiences.

Parents can choose from four levels for each child and fine-tune access to email, instant messages, chat rooms, premium services, and web sites.

Internet Access Controls (IACs) are designed to work alongside Parental Controls. They reduce the risk of children encountering potential threats or inappropriate websites by requiring password access to internet-related programs on your computer.

Before you can use Parental Controls properly, it is important that you install Internet Access Controls (IACs).

Note: Parental Controls are currently only available to Broadband members. This includes members on a dial-up price plan such as Anytime.
