There are two versions of the SpeedTouch 121g wireless USB adapter, the version 1 and version 2.

The label located on the back of the adapter can be used to identify the version of the Speedtouch 121g that you have. If the product code is DSL22121 the adapter is a version 1. If the product code is DSL25121 the adapter is a version 2.
