If you have purchased a new PC or laptop and you are no longer using McAfee on your old computer, you’ll still be able to re-install AOL Security Suite powered by McAfee.

Option 1 – Check the email which was sent to you when you originally signed up for AOL Security powered by McAfee as it has the relevant details to download the product.

When you originally bought your subscription for AOL Security Suite powered by McAfee, you would have received an e-mail from our partner McAfee with full download and installation instructions.

This e-mail would have been sent to your AOL Screen Name (or AOL e-mail address) with which you signed up to buy the product. Contained in this mail are download instructions and your log-in credentials for McAfee. These log-in credentials are:
1. Your username (which is the AOL Screen Name [or e-mail address] with which you bought the product.)
2. Your password, which will allow you to access the software on the McAfee provisioning site to re-download the product. The password is generated by McAfee and is included in the e-mail.
(This e-mail also contains the URL / link for the McAfee site, where you will be able to enter your username and password to re-download the product.)

Option 2 – I don’t have the email… what do I do now?

If you don’t have the e-mail which was sent when you purchased AOL Security Suite powered by McAfee, AOL customer care can use the McAfee Provisioning Tool to provide you with your login credentials. They’ll generate a new password for you where after you’ll be asked to login to the McAfee site with your credentials. These are:
1. Your username which is the AOL Primary Screen Name [or e-mail address] with which you purchased the product.
2. Your newly generated password, allowing you to access the software on the McAfee provisioning site
To contact AOL customer care please complete the form on http://aol.co.uk/feedback stating your Primary Screen Name (or AOL e-mail address) with which you originally purchased your AOL Security Suite powered by McAfee subscription and requesting AOL customer care to generate a new McAfee password for you to re-download your product. Please mention that you no longer have the original email you received from McAfee when you bought the product.

AOL customer care will send you an email with your McAfee log in details and link to download the product. Once you have this information, follow the steps under Option 1 above to re-download your AOL Security Suite to your PC.
