AIM 6.1 has many settings which can be changed at any time to customise your use.
This includes settings for General and Enhanced IMs, Buddy List, Address Book, Expressions, Sounds, Sign In / Sign Out, Notifications, Privacy and Away Messages.

Change the AIM 6.1Settings
You can change the settings from the Buddy List window.
To change the AIM 6.1 settings:
1. Start the AIM 6.1 software and sign on.
2. Click the Edit menu, then click Settings....

Note: You can also tap the F7 key on your keyboard.

3. Click the tab for the settings category you want to change.
4. Edit the options that you want to change. After selecting the options you want, click the Save button.
