How do Activity Reports work?

You can view detailed information about your child's online activities when you visit Parental Controls. Activity reports contain detailed information about a child's online activities. Under the Child's Activity Report heading, click View for the report you wish to view.

These reports include:

  • The websites visited and number of visits.
  • The websites blocked and number of attempts.
  • The screen names emailed and instant messaged and how many times each screen name was contacted.
  • The number of emails reported as spam.

This data is available for the last 14 days and is near real-time. There are also links to view the child's Address Book and Buddy List window.

When you enable Activity Reports, you have to option to receive an email summary which details your child's online activity each time he or she uses the service.

The activity report email will contain:
  • The top 5 websites your child successfully visited.
  • The top 5 websites your child attempted to visit but was blocked.
  • The number of emails your child has sent.
  • The number of instant messages your child has sent.

Note: This email will only be sent if there is activity to report for the screen name.
