How do I clear my web browser history?

Internet Explorer automatically keeps a 'history' of all web sites you've visited recently, whether you were using our service or another internet provider. This makes it easier for you to revisit these web sites in future.

If you wish to delete this list of web sites for privacy reasons, you can do so as follows:

Windows Vista:

1. Click Start, then Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Internet Options icon.
3. In the 'Browsing History' section, click Delete...
4. Click Delete files... and Delete history....
5. Click Close and then click OK.

Windows XP and below:

1. On the Windows Start menu, go to Settings, then click Control Panel.
For Windows XP - click Start, then select Control Panel. In the Control Panel, ensure that the classic view is selected (by clicking Switch to classic view on the top left hand corner).
2. Double-click the Internet Options (or Internet) icon.
3. In the 'Temporary Internet Files' section, click on Delete Files... and then click OK.
4. Click on Clear History and then click Yes.

The instructions above may vary slightly depending on your exact version of Internet Explorer and/or Windows. For further support, visit the Microsoft web site: http://www.microsoft.com/ie/support/.
