How do I forward an e-mail on AOL Mail?

Automatically Forward E-mail

The AOL service does not currently provide the ability to automatically forward your e-mail. You must sign on to the AOL service and manually forward your e-mail.

Instead of replying to the author of e-mail you receive, you may want to send the e-mail on to another person for information or follow-up.

Forward an E-mail

When you forward an e-mail, all text and attachments from the original e-mail are included automatically. You will not see the contents of the original e-mail while you are writing your content and adding your attachments.

To forward an e-mail:

1. Open the piece of e-mail you want to forward.
2. Click the Forward button.
3. In the To: box, type the e-mail address of the person to whom you want to send e-mail. To send the same message to another person, type a comma, then type the next e-mail address.

Note: If you send an e-mail to an AIM member or an AOL member, you only need to type the member's screen name in the To:, Cc:, or Bcc: boxes. If you send an e-mail to someone using another ISP, you must include the entire e-mail address, including the domain, for example, [address@domain.com]. If you leave out any portion of the e-mail address, the e-mail will be returned to you as undeliverable.

4. If needed, type your message in the large message box.
5. Click the Send button.
