How do I report offensive email I have received?

If you receive offensive email (e.g. vulgarity, harassment, sexually explicit email, etc.) from another AOL member, you should forward it to the screen name COSUK for review by our Conditions of Service Staff. Make sure you forward the original email you received by opening it and clicking on the Forward button.

If this email contains an attached file or an embedded picture, please forward it to the screen name COSFILES.

Email from Internet users (i.e. where the email address is not an AOL email address) does not fall under our Conditions of Service. However, the service from which the email may have a Usage Policy for such situations. Forward the original email back to the Postmaster of this service (e.g. where the email came from 1234@***.com, the postmaster would be postmaster@***.com), explaining the circumstances in which the email was received.
