How do I sign in to AOL Mail?

E-mail allows you to exchange messages, documents, photographs, and sounds, with anyone with an e-mail address, virtually anywhere in the world, instantaneously.

There is no charge for sending or receiving e-mail with the AOL Mail service.

Sign on to AOL Mail

1. Go to www.aol.co.uk, then click the Email icon.
2. In the Screen Name or E-mail: box, type the desired screen name, type the password in the Password: box, then click the Sign In button.

Note: If your Web browser displays a Security Alert message, click the Yes or OK button to continue.

Read E-Mail on AOL Mail

You can use a Web browser to read your e-mail through the AOL.co.uk Web page. After you open a message, the message no longer appears in bold font on your message list. Only unread messages appear in bold.

To read your e-mail:

1. Sign on to your AOL Mail.
2. On the AOL Mail window, click the Inbox (or New Mail) folder.
3. Click the message you want to read. A new window will open (the mail may open in the same window, depending on your settings).
