How do I unblock an e-mail address on AOL Mail?

If you have accidentally blocked an e-mail address or domain, you can remove that e-mail address or domain from your block list.

Note: A domain is the part of the e-mail address after the @ symbol. For example, if the e-mail address is address@aol.com, aol.com would be the domain.

Unblock an e-mail address or domain

You will not receive e-mail from any e-mail address or domain on your Mail Controls block list. If you want to receive e-mail from an e-mail address or domain currently on your block list, you will need to remove them from the list.

To unblock an e-mail address or domain:

1. Go to www.aol.co.uk.
2. Click the Mail icon.
3. In the Screen Name or E-mail: box, type your AOL screen name.
4. In the Password: box, type your AOL password.
5. Click the Sign In button.
6. Click the Settings link.
7. Click the Spam Controls link.
8. In the Spam Filters by Address section, scroll down to the e-mail address you want to unblock, hover the mouse pointer over the e-mail address, then click the X button.
9. The e-mail address will disappear from the list.
10. Repeat Step 7 and 8 for all e-mail addresses and domains that you wish to unblock.
11. Click the Save button to save the changes.
