How do I use chat controls?

Parents can use chat controls to allow different levels of access to chat rooms. You may choose to allow your child to chat only in private, member-created rooms but not in general rooms available to all members. This allows the child to chat with select friends. Alternatively, you have the option to block all chat. The choice is yours.

To change chat controls:

1. Go to Parental Controls.
Note: You must be signed on with your master screen name to set chat controls.
2. Select the screen name for whom you are setting the chat controls.
3. Scroll to the Chat Room Controls section.
4. Select the chat controls of your choice by ticking the appropriate boxes.
5. Click Save.
