How do I use the autocomplete feature to find e-mail addresses on AOL Mail?

The Auto Complete feature will present a list of e-mail addresses from your AOL® WebMail Contacts folder, depending on the text you have entered in theTo:, Cc:, or Bcc: boxes.

Use the Auto Complete feature

To make it easier to address your e-mail, AOL WebMail can offer suggestions from your AOL Contacts folder.

Note: This feature works with address books that have fewer than 4,000 entries and is available on advanced browsers only, such as: Firefox® 1.0, Internet Explorer® 5.5 or 6.0, and Safari® 1.2.4.

To use Auto Complete:

1. In the left panel, click the Write Mail button.
2. In the To box, type at least the first letter of the e-mail address, then pause for a moment. A drop-down list will appear with suggestions.
3. In the list, click the e-mail address you wish to select. You can repeat this method to add additional recipents.

Note: Type more characters to narrow down the match.
