Ignoring distracting chat

Sometimes a chat room can get quite busy with dozens of people talking at the same time. This can make it difficult to keep track of a particular conversation.

Using the Ignore option will remove a particular chatter's statements from your screen. This means that you can filter out distracting conversation and concentrate only on the conversation(s) that you are involved in.

It's easy to do: Simply double-click on the member's name on the list of members in the room. Then tick the box labelled Ignore.

Note: If the member leaves the chat room and re-enters, you'll need to repeat this process if you still wish to ignore his or her chat.

If you decide you'd like to see that member's chat again, repeat this procedure and un-tick Ignore.
