Monthly cancellation charge
- Where your AOL Broadband package is subject to a minimum-term contract, you commit to pay your monthly subscription for the duration of that minimum term.
- If you wish to cancel your AOL Broadband contract before the end of any such minimum term, you will be charged a set fee for each remaining month of your minimum term. The amount you will be charged can be calculated using the table below.
- If no minimum-term contract applies to your AOL Broadband package, you can cancel at any time without incurring any termination charges.

Note: The charges you will have to pay if you end the contract early are based on the price band of your AOL Broadband monthly subscription fee, without taking into account any discounted promotional periods. For example, if you signed up to a package that cost £9.99 per month for three months and £14.99 thereafter, you should look at the £14.99 price band.
- For example:
- A broadband member who pays £14.99, and has five months remaining in their contract, will need to pay £58.60 (£11.72 x 5) to exit their contract.
- A broadband member who pays £19.99, and has seven months remaining in their contract, will need to pay £117.04 (£16.72 x 7).
- A Platinum package member who pays £21.24 and has three months remaining in their contract, will need to pay £42.12 (£14.04 x 3).
After cancellation of your AOL Broadband service, if a cancellation charge is applicable to you, the total sum due will be automatically debited from your normal payment method on the 1st billing date after cancellation.
