Adding entries
You can add entries in two ways:
Adding entries directly
Adding entries directly from your blog page is easy:
1. Click the Add Entry button.
2. In the Add an Entry form that opens, enter a subject.
3. If you want, choose a mood from the mood list that expresses how you're feeling.
4. As an option, enter the music you're listening to.
5. If you want to add pictures to your entry, see Adding pictures for more information.
6. Type in your entry text.
7. When you're ready, click Save.
You'll return to your blog page and your entry is there.
Note: See Announcing your blog. If you select the Create your first entry now tick box, your main blog page opens with the entry form ready for you to use.
Adding entries by IM
You can add entries to your blog by IM, using a special screen name (or a 'bot') that is added to your Buddy List.
1. Open your blog.
2. Click the Edit Blog button.
3. In the Options and Permissions section of the form that opens, select Add this blog to your Buddy List.
A new group called AOL Bots is added to your Buddy List, with AOLUKBlogs as the first Buddy in it. The next time you want to add an entry, simply IM AOLUKBlogs and the text is automatically entered.
