Screen name appears to be in use by another member

It may seem as if somebody else has the same screen name as you, but AOL screen names are always unique.

Screen names may look similar because certain letters and numbers appear almost identical to other letters or numbers.

Notably, the upper case letter i looks like the lower case letter L and an upper case letter o looks like the number 0 (zero). The use of these characters can cause two different names to look very similar.

For example:

InteI
lntel

These screen names look almost identical, but the first one was created with the upper case letter i and the second with the lower case letter L.
