Security Controls settings on AOL WebSuite Basic version

Having signed into the AOL software, at times you probably may rush to attend some emergency. For security purposes, we make sure that you get automatically signed off in such circumstances. Let me tell you how to do this.

To turn on the auto sign off option:

1. In the upper right of the AOL Mail window, click the Settings link.
2. On the General tab, look for the Auto Sign Off section.
3. Click the Automatically sign me off if I'm inactive for drop-down, then click to choose the setting that suits you best.

Note: By default, the auto sign-off feature is set to 24 hours. Besides this option, the choices open to you are 30 Minutes, 2 hours, 8 Hours, and 2 Weeks.

4. Click the Save button, located in the upper left.
