Set default ratings on Internet Explorer security settings

Internet Explorer security settings set too high may restrict your internet access. Follow the instructions below to set the security settings back to default.

  1. Click on Start, then Settings and Control Panel
    Windows XP/Vista users: Click Start and then Control Panel
  2. Double-click on Internet Options
    Windows XP/Vista users may need to click Switch to Classic View first
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. In security settings select the Zone which you want to set the default settings for and click on the Default level button.
  5. Click on Apply and then OK.
