Set up AOL account on another computer
To add your AOL screen name to another computer, install a new copy of the AOL software on the other computer.
It is recommended that you exit all software applications that are running while you install the AOL software to avoid installation problems such as program conflicts and low system resources.
To set up an AOL account on another computer:
1. If you have Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP on your computer, you need to log in to the computer as an administrator in order to install the AOL software.
2. Start the AOL Setup program.
- If you have an AOL CD, insert the CD in your CD drive. Setup should start automatically.
- You can download the software by visiting http://info.aol.co.uk/downloads web page and clicking the Get it now link under the Download the latest version of AOL section. Setup should start automatically after the download.
3. Click the Current Member click here button. You will be given 3 options for installing the AOL software.
4. Choose the Adding your existing account to this computer option by clicking it, then click the Next click here button.
5. On the Select Destination Directory screen, click the Next click here button to install the AOL software in the standard location (for example, C:Program Files/AOL 9.0).
6. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
