Step-by-step setup

Connecting your wireless modem router is simple. Just follow the instructions below.

1. Disconnect all phones and equipment (fax machines, Sky box, etc) from the wall phone sockets.

2. Plug a filter into each of your phone sockets.

3. Now plug all the equipment you unplugged earlier back into the phone port on the filters you connected to the phone sockets.

4. Find the main telephone socket (usually near the front door) and plug the grey line cable into the filter port marked modem. Plug the other end into the grey port on the router.

5. Plug the yellow ethernet cable into one of the yellow ports in the back of the router.

6. Plug the other end of the yellow ethernet cable into the Network Interface socket in the back of your computer.

7. Plug your modem router into a power socket and switch it on. After about 30 seconds, the power light and the internet light on the front of the modem router will go green and one of the numbered ports will also be lit. If these lights do not appear, check that the cables are connected properly.
