Turn Computer Check-Up automatic scanning off and on

Computer Check-Up is an automated troubleshooting and maintenance system for your computer that uses advanced technology to detect your hardware and software configuration.

Computer Check-Up is set to automatically scan your computer every two weeks. If you do not want it to scan automatically you can turn this feature off. You can turn this feature back on again should you choose to have automatic scanning at a later date.

To turn automatic scanning off:

1. On the Windows desktop, double-click the Computer Check-Up icon.
2. Click the Check-up Schedule tab.
3. Click the Do not schedule a check-up option to select it.
4. Click the Save button.
5. Click the X on the upper right to close the Computer Check-Up window.

Turn Computer Check-Up auto scan on

If you decide you would like Computer Check-Up to automatically scan your computer for issues, you can turn the feature back on as easily as you turned it off.

To turn automatic scanning on:

1. On the Windows desktop, double-click the Computer Check-Up icon.
2. Click the Check-up Schedule tab.
3. Click the Check every: drop-down menu and change your frequency setting to your desired scan schedule.
4. Click the at: drop-down menus to change the time the schedule runs.
5. Click one of the on: options to select the day you want the scan to run on.
6. Click the Save button.
7. Click the X on the upper right to close the Computer Check-Up window.
