Uninstall AOL Browser
If you are having problems with the AOL Browser software, you can uninstall it and reinstall it at a later time.
You will need to know what version of Microsoft Windows operating system is installed on your computer. If you do not know how to find this information, follow the instructions in the online help article entitled How to determine which version of Windows I have.
Uninstall AOL Browser
Uninstalling the AOL Browser software will remove the software and any settings associated with the software.
To uninstall AOL Browser:
1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
-- If using Windows XP or Windows Vista, click the Start button, then click Control Panel.
-- If using Windows 98, Windows Me, or Windows 2000, click the Start button, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Change Or Remove Programs or Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. Click AOL Uninstaller to highlight it.
4. Click the box beside Remove AOL Browser to place a tick in it.
5. Click the Uninstall button.
6. Click the Yes button.
7. If prompted to restart your computer, click the Yes button.
