Uninstall the AIM software

To uninstall the AIM software, you must have administrative access to your computer. If you do not, please contact your computer manufacturer or system administrator.

To uninstall the AIM software in Windows® XP or Windows 2000:
1. Open the Control Panel.
- In Windows XP, click the Start button, then click Control Panel.
- In Windows® 2000 Professional, click the Start button, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs or Add or Remove Programs icon.
3. Select AIM software from the list by clicking it, then click the Change/Remove button.
4. Click the OK button.
5. Click the Yes button.
6. When prompted click the Restart button to restart the computer.
To uninstall the AIM software in Windows® Vista":

1. Click the Start button, then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Programs and Features icon.

Note: If the Programs and Features icon is not displayed, click the Programs icon, then click the Programs and Features icon.

3. Select AIM software from the list by clicking it, then click the Uninstall/Change button.
4. Click the OK button.
5. Click the Yes button.
6. When prompted click the Restart button to restart the computer.
