Use talk for a voice session in AIM

The AIM talk feature allows you to have a voice conversation with your online friends. To use the talk feature with an online friend, you will both need to have either:

-- A microphone and speakers
-- A USB phone

You can use either combination to talk with your online friends while you IM them.

Receive an invitation to join a talk session

When you receive an invitation, you have four choices on how to respond to the invitation. You can:

-- Click the Accept button to start a talk session.
-- Click the Reject button to decline the invitation.
-- Click the Block button to add the sender to your list of blocked screen names.
-- Click the Ignore button to ignore all further IM invitations from this sender during this AIM session. The sender will not be blocked the next time you sign on.

Once your online friend accepts the invitation, you can begin speaking.
