Chat controls allow you to permit or deny access to chat rooms, where real-time, online conversations take place.

To use chat controls:

1. Go to Parental Controls. Note: You must be signed on with your master screen name to set chat controls.
2. Select the screen name for whom you are setting the chat controls.
3. Scroll to the Chat Room Controls section.
4. Choose the setting that is most appropriate for the user of the screen name.
5. Click Save.
