What are freephone access numbers?

Freephone access numbers are our national network of designated telephone numbers for use by UK members to access the internet using the Anytime, Off-Peak All the Time, and Light Usage price plans (for details of these price plans, see Pricing options).

By selecting a freephone number in conjunction with any of the above-listed price plans, you will not incur any telephone charges for accessing the internet. These numbers include 0800, 0808 and other numbers which may be added at a later date.

If you access the internet via Sky Active, although we don't charge for sessions, you will be liable for all telephone charges incurred in connecting to Sky Active. Please sign-on to the AOL software and go to AOL Keyword: SkyActive for more information.

The phrase 'freephone' is intended to provide an easy way for Members to recognise and select these numbers, and contrast them with other access numbers which will result in telephone charges - such as 0845 numbers. We reserve the right to remove or alter any of the freephone access numbers at any time.

To ensure you are connecting via the most appropriate freephone number, sign-on to AOL and visit AOL Keyword: Best Number.
