What are the Away Message settings on AOL WebSuite Basic version?

You can create a holiday response so that anyone who sends you e-mails, while you are on the go, will get an automatic reply to let them know you can not read or reply to their message right now.

Holiday response

A holiday response is perfect when you're leaving for a vacation and you want to let people know when you'll be returning.

To set a holiday response:

1. Log in to AOL WebSuite Basic at www.aol.co.uk, then click the Settings link in the upper left.
2. Click the General link on the left panel.
3. In the Holiday Response section click one of the three options that is listed. They are:

No holiday response: Use this option if you don't like the idea of having a holiday response.

Hello, I am unavailable to read your message at this time : If you choose this option, in your absence people who send you a mail will receive an e-mail with the same content.

Hello, I am away until xxxx and am unable to read your message: If you click this option and type a date in the box provided. The sender will receive a message with that text.

3. Click the OK button to confirm any changes that you may have made.

Note: Only one away message will be returned to a sender, even if multiple messages are received. When you become available again, remember to change this setting back.
