We reserve the right to take appropriate action to preserve the online experience of all other AOL Broadband users. If a member's usage exceeds what AOL Broadband deems fair and reasonable for a residential broadband service, speed-limiting restrictions may be applied during peak hours (typically evenings) in the first instance to protect the performance of our network.
If your usage exceeds what we deem fair and reasonable for a residential broadband service, we may write to you to advise you of this and encourage you to reduce your usage. We may also alert you to the risk of service termination, however this would be in extreme circumstances. We will do our best to give you plenty of warning and will try to give you an initial warning 60 days before any service termination, should it come to that.
We ask that you remain aware of the potential impact your usage can have on other users of our network and keep it within a reasonable level.
