What if I lose my password, or give it out by mistake?

First, don't panic - but immediately change your AOL password by going to AOL Keyword: Password and your AIM password (if you have one) by going to AOL Keyword: AIM Password.

Then, if you used the same password for other screen names on your account, sign on to each of those screen names and change their passwords in the same way.

Finally, monitor your account for a few days - checking to see if your mailbox contains any sent email you don't recognise, or you receive unexpected email or instant messages. If this happens, contact AOL Broadband Member Services at http://myaolbroadband.co.uk/contact.
