What is the Cooling Off Period?

You have seven working days to change your mind starting from the day after AOL Broadband is fully installed on your phone line and you receive your wireless modem router. This is your Cooling Off Period. You can cancel AOL Broadband without charge at any time during your Cooling Off Period. If you do so, any orders you have placed for AOL Talk will also be cancelled and you will no longer be eligible for the laptop.

If you have ordered AOL Talk, you will also have a separate Cooling Off Period for AOL Talk - this will be explained in more detail in the separate AOL Talk information that we will send you.

Note: If you cancel the AOL Talk part of your AOL Broadband Wireless Plus package, we reserve the right to increase your monthly AOL Broadband price by up to £10 (depending on which AOL Talk call plan you were on). This is because your AOL Broadband Wireless Plus package price is dependent on your continued subscription to AOL Talk. We will contact you separately if this is the case.

There is also a separate Cooling Off Period for your laptop only starting from the day after it is delivered to you. However, canceling your order for your laptop during any laptop Cooling Off Period does not automatically give you the right to cancel your AOL Broadband subscription.
