What is the Drafts folder on AOL Mail ?

You can use the Drafts folder for storing messages that you haven't finished writing. Once you save your unfinished e-mail, you can edit and send it later.

Important:

Drafts saved using AOL Mail, will not be available on AOL 9.0VR, AOL 9.0, AOL 8.0 or lower or AOL for Mac OS X.

If using AOL Desktop, drafts saved using AOL Mail, will be available On AOL’s Drafts folder, as shown below.

Save an e-mail

1. Sign in to your AOL Mail account.
2. Click the Compose button.
3. Click the Save Draft button.

Notes:

While writing an e-mail, if you try to navigate to a different folder, you will get a message:

Click Yes to save the e-mail as draft.
Click No to delete the unfinished e-mail.
Click Keep Writing to continue writing the e-mail.

Retrieve a draft

1. Sign in to your AOL Mail account, and then click the Drafts folder.
2. Click the message you'd like to continue composing.
3. Edit the message, and then click Send or Save Drafts.

Delete a draft

1. Sign in to your AOL Mail account, and then click the Drafts folder.
2. Check the box next to the message you'd like to delete.
3. Click Delete.

Move a draft to a different folder

1. Sign in to your AOL WebMail account, and then click the Drafts folder.
2. Check the box next to the message you'd like to move.
3. Click the Action drop-down menu, and then select the desired folder.
