When will my new price plan take effect?

If you have chosen a new price plan, the change will not take effect until approximately 3pm GMT on your next billing date. Please remember that you will continue to be charged under your current price plan until then.

To check when your next billing date will be, sign-on to AOL and go to AOL Keyword: Billing and click Current Bill Summary.

How does this affect you? Let's say, for example, that your billing date was the 10th of every month and you signed up to a new price plan on 6 October.

Since your new price plan does not come into effect until your next billing date (10 October), you would continue to be charged under your old plan until approx. 3pm GMT on 10 October. Your monthly fee billed to you on 10 October would then reflect your new price plan.

However, if you requested a different price plan after 3pm GMT on your billing date (10 October in the above example), your new plan would not take effect until the following billing date (i.e. 10 November).
