WPA or Wi-Fi Protected Access is a wireless security method used to protect you and your wireless network. It prevents other users in your area from connecting to your network and accessing your information. Note: If your modem router and wireless adapter support WPA, you can configure your network to use this security method. If any one of your wireless devices does not support WPA, all your wireless devices will need to use an alternative security method (WEP) to connect securely. To set up WPA on your wireless network, use the steps below to firstly configure your modem router and then each computer that connects to your network wirelessly.
