How do I use the 'Set My Location' option?
Use the Set My Location option in AOL Search to help us find the best local results for your city or town. AOL Search will use your location to give you customised results including movie time, weather conditions and local business listings.
AOL Search will attempt to set your location for you based on your computer’s IP address. If we’ve gotten it wrong, you can follow these simple steps to update it:
To set or change your location in AOL Search:
Go to AOL Search.
Type in a keyword in the search box and click Search.
Click Tools then Settings.
In the Location Management section, type your Post code or your City (e.g., London SW9910017).
Click Save Setting.
Click OK.
You’re all set! AOL Search will now display results that are relevant to your location.
